So Pasquale has been teasing big news for EDC, but I mean, I never trust when people say something along those lines that it is ACTUALLY big news. Most of the time it’s like small changes, but EDC LV is really changing this time around.
Ever since I took up dancing with fiber optic whips, meeting new people and making new friends has never been easier. Last April I attended my first ever Phoenix Lights in Phoenix, Arizona and met many other flow artists. As the sun set on the first night and the light toys began to come out, I met fellow whipper Sam, aka CloudyWoudy, from Chandler, Arizona. Unlike many whippers I had met, Sam actually knew how to use it and had only started months before! Flowing with Sam the first night and adopting him into my group the second night (since he went solo that day) helped us form a bond that flow artists have.
Hey, all! Today I want to talk about something that’s very close to my heart.
It’s the idea of PLUR, or, peace, love, unity, and respect. They were always principles that I strived to live by, but it wasn’t until I stumbled into the world of raving and EDM that I realized the way I chose to love life not only had a name, but a vast community of beautiful beings who choose to share this positivity with the people around them.
Vital Events, the home of neck-breaking, bass driven festivals in Northern California, has outdone themselves with Toxic Summer 2017! Seen as the Holy Grail for bass heads, Toxic Summer went off with a bang in sunny San Jose, CA at the City National Civic. With the filthy line up for this two day festival, with big names such as 12th Planet, Must Die!, Funtcase & Cookie Monsta, necks were effectively broken.
