I’ve always heard of Imagine Music Festival. Inklings of conversations really, but I never realized how massive this event is, and how much FOMO I now feel for not attending it before. So let’s dive into it together: the FOMO I feel from not attending last year, and what’s coming this year.
As of October 2nd, the area known as Thornville in Ohio may very well not exist as it is today; instead it is quite possible as of that day all that remains is a massive crater in the ground with ensuing wreckage comparable to that of the legendary Pompeii disaster; just instead of volcanic ash and city remnants, there will only be shards of broken rails, half torn speakers, and filth-engulfed stage debris.
In less than a week, the second annual Bass event Project: Z Festival will commence and it is definitely something to be excited about! Last year’s unique festival combined hard dance styles with dubstep and it was nothing short of incredible. What is special about Insomniac’s Project: Z is that it draws two separate crowds that happen to coincide so well. Us bass heads and hardstyle lovers tend to love bass music in general so to have our favorite music in one place is a dream come true!
