Imagine Music Festival is embarking on its third year, and coming in strong with a new location and added features to our favorite Atlanta festival!
The team over at Iris has done wonders in previous years gaining quick momentum and establishing a strong name in the EDM community The Atlanta based event grew out of its original home location in just two short years, and has relocated to the Atlanta Motor Speedway and added camping to the festival experience. Attendees can expect the be fully submerged in the aquatic themed festival all weekend long.
With just under a week left to prepare for the event, iHeartRaves has put together a list of items that are usually only second thought to the typical camping festival list to help assure everyone has all the little things packed away for a weekend of fun!
Shaky Beats, the sister festival of Atlanta’s more alternative festival Shaky Knees, kicked off its first year with a great lineup and wonderful first impression. Located in the very center of downtown Atlanta, the location brought all of the energy for bass junkies and ravers alike! Behind the festival grounds you could see the massive SkyView Ferris Wheel, which was glowing with color after sunset. Prior to leaving for Euphoria, I had the opportunity to interview the festivals founder, Mitch Morales. The main goal for Mitch was to build a community within the festival that embodied the unique and charismatic spirit of Austin, Texas.
After attending the four-day event, I can say with complete honesty that he succeeded and surpassed his goal.
Euphoria had everything that you could dream of in a festival setting. It was close enough to a big city, but far away enough to feel secluded. One stage was surrounded by the river and tress, and the other two stages featured plenty of open space to cater to the crowds from headlining artists.
